Learning how to sew is fun but I’m so scared the machine is gonna eat my hand
It’s noises are just so scary
One thing I detest in fiction:
Artist references that don't make any sense.
Hate it. My brain is immediately like: Yes, lead character has no idea what they're talking about, they just want to appear fucking charming. And they're failing.
Seriously, don't let your male lead tell the female lead that she looks "like she belongs in a Monet".
90% of what that guy painted was fucking landscapes. The other 10% were his wife and blurry arse people without features.
Just now, I saw a character go: "You look like Matisse himself painted you." and I was like: Really? Matisse?
So she looks like this?
This is what we're thinking?
Really, this? Of all the painters outthere, this is what we're choosing?
I'd really, genuinely rather look like Monet's waterlily than this. At this point, why not call her a Picasso?
sometimes you just need a new dress, a new lipstick, and a new handbag 🛍
