Spicy stir-fried sugar snap peas are a quick and easy side dish that packs a flavorful punch. The combination of soy sauce, sesame oil, and Sriracha sauce adds a savory and spicy kick to the crisp and tender sugar snap peas. This dish comes together in just minutes and is perfect for adding some excitement to your keto meals!
Ingredients: 1 lb sugar snap peas, trimmed. 2 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1-2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce adjust to taste. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. Salt and pepper, to taste. Sesame seeds, for garnish optional.
Instructions: Put olive oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. Grate the ginger and mince the garlic into the pan. Cook for about one minute, until the garlic and ginger smell good. Stir-fry the sugar snap peas for two to three minutes, until they are bright green and just a little soft but still crisp. Put soy sauce, sesame oil, and Sriracha sauce in a small bowl and mix them together. Pour the sauce over the sugar snap peas in the pan and toss to cover them all. Keep cooking for another minute or two, until the sauce gets a little thicker and covers the sugar snap peas. Add pepper and salt to taste. Take the spicy stir-fried sugar snap peas off the heat and put them in a serving dish. If you want, you can sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Serve hot as a tasty and smoky side dish! Have fun!
