This simple pizza dough recipe will become your go-to for making tasty pizzas at home. You can make a great pizza crust quickly and easily with just a few simple ingredients and easy steps.
Ingredients: 1 cups warm water 110F / 45C. 2 teaspoons sugar. 2 teaspoons active dry yeast. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoons salt.
Instructions: Warm water and sugar should be mixed in a small bowl. Mix it around until the sugar is gone. Put yeast on top of the sugar and water mix and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes until it foams up. Put flour and salt in a large bowl and mix them together. There should be a well in the middle of the flour mixture. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the well. Once a dough starts to form, knead it on a floured surface for five minutes or until it is smooth and springy. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and set it in a greased bowl. Let it rise in a warm place for one to two hours, or until it goes double in size. Warm up your oven to 475F 245C and put a pizza stone or an upside-down baking sheet inside to heat up. The dough has risen, so punch it down and divide it into two equal pieces for two pizzas. Roll out each piece of dough on a floured surface until it's the thickness you want for your pizza crust. Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza peel lined with parchment paper or another baking sheet that has been turned upside down. Put on the sauce, cheese, and toppings you like best on pizza. The pizza with the toppings should be placed on a pizza stone or baking sheet that has already been heated in the oven. Put it in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is funky and browned. Take it out of the oven, let it cool for a minute, then cut it up and enjoy!
