I just read quicksilver no surrender and this is literally going to live in my brain for the foreseeable future. 1 and 5 were my favorites but that’s probably not surprising for a 5 issue run I’m so normal about pietro maximoff and how his brain works guys I swear

Regarding that post you made on luna, iirc there’s a moment in quicksilver no surrender where pietro mentions a native community in South America and the kinship he felt due to similar experiences in his own community and it obviously meant a lot to him but what was really interesting to me was that he mentioned he took Crystal there I think maybe on their honeymoon? Or anniversary or something I don’t remember but it stood out to me that he took her there and told her all of this I think if he was that eager to share this with his then wife he ABSOLUTELY would jump at any opportunity to share it with his daughter. Also I don’t remember any of the details of it but I know some point in the 90s there was an issue where pietro took Luna to visit his hometown in Transia so it’s canon that he proudly shares his heritage and community with his family so I’m sure Luna would definitely grow up identifying as Romani I can’t imagine any reason she wouldn’t

Pietro doesn't actually say that he told Crystal any of this directly, but he might've! Ahmed really goes out of his way to show readers how being Romani is central to Pietro's identity and the way he views the world. Based on this characterization, yeah, I absolutely believe he would talk about this stuff with his wife, and to share his heritage with his daughter. Unfortunately, Ahmed is one of only a very writers to actually put this kind of care into Pietro's Romani identity.
