Send me "Goodbye" for the last voice message my muse leaves for yours before they die.
Natasha looked at the person who had her, face bloody and bruised, her body covered in marks, burns, cuts, blood, dirt, and other things that she couldn’t discern. The phone was held out to her and she had her instructions: Talk to the person you love and say goodbye. But then she heard the voice message and knew she wouldn’t be able to hear his voice truly for her final time. When the ‘beep’ came, she closed her eyes.
“Pietro,” She whispered. “I... I won’t be home again. You’re probably looking for me, and you won’t find me alive. I’ve been gone for a while and I’m sure that you’ve been worried.” She felt the tears fall from her eyes and her voice broke. “I want you to know that I love you. And I don’t want you to seek revenge for this. Don’t waste your life on me. It won’t do you any good. I’m still surprised you gave me this much time. Just know I’ll be around and watching over you. I love you so much.”
The phone was put aside, still recording the message and the last things you could hear were a gunshot and a chair falling over. The phone finally cut off and it was finally over.
