Natasha blinked and looked at him as she took some deep breaths as she paused her workout. "I'm covered in sweat, hair plastered to my skin, and I'm in dingy, old, workout clothes," she said, putting her hands on her hips. "This is what does it for you?"

Clint looked at her for a moment and gave a small shrug. "You could wear an old potato bag and still be the most beautiful woman in my eyes." He smiled softly at Natasha

"I would not look as good a Marylin Monroe did in that potato sack and you know it," she countered, taking a deep breath. "But thanks. Anyway... what did you come here for? It can't just be to tell me you think I look pretty... right?"

"Right. You'd probably look even better than her." Clint smiled. "Maybe I really just came here to tell you you look pretty." The truth was Clint was bored. On the last mission he got out with three broken ribs and a punctured lung. He was okay again now but still wasn't allowed to go on missions or even train. And that was the worst.

The redhead paused and looked over at the archer. "Flattery?" She asked. "What do you want me to do?" The woman wasn't sure what to do with the compliments and she worried it was just something to butter her up to get her to do something.

"Why can't I just say nice flattery things without anyone thinking I want something?" Clint said with a dramatic eye roll. "So...how was your day?"

"Because that's how people work with me," she admitted softly, frowning a bit. "The day's been good. What about you? Aside from Liho stealing your hearing aid."

"Yeah. But you know that's not how I work with you." He told her. "Oh my days been good too. Except that I'm still not allowed to go on missions or even train a bit because and I quote our doc 'it could cause another internal bleeding'. And it really sucks to just be allowed to stay here and do nothing."

"Well, why don't we watch a movie or something? Or maybe we can do grab some stuff if you want to try making some new arrows. I'll make sure you don't end up bleeding," she assured.

"I'll find some way to get it out of you. Some way. Anyway, I'm planning on heading to the gym soon. Meet me down there for training. I'll give you more info on the mission while we train."

Natasha hadn't made the best choices when she was younger. She fell into a group of people that never really had her best interests in mind because she was new and the foreigner. So anything could be passed off on her being from another country.

When she got her life together, she thought she'd met someone good finally. After a year of dating, she found herself pregnant and then alone. With her water breaking during her college graduation, her life was set on a path that day. And when she welcomed her daughter Rosetta, her world turned into a tiny little figure in her arms.

Years passed and she worked with a company that worked with her needs of time off for the baby. Now that Rose was able to be in a daycare, Natasha was picky. After a week at this new place and Rose telling her all about Mr. B... she wanted to enroll her in for a few months. So she stood at the counter, waiting for the secretary to pull files and contracts for her.

"It's okay, I don't mind the rambling at all," Clint reassured her with a smile as he answered her questions. "Different daycares and schools have different rules, but at SHIELD, It's allowed any time if you ask in advance so we can ensure the safety and inclusion of any kids with food allergies or special dietary needs, though most people only do it when their kid has a birthday."

Natasha nodded at his answer and definitely made a note. "Got it. Because I'd like to make sure the daycare has fun things too. So if there's anything we can't donate to you all, let me know?" She asked, smiling a bit. She'd won money from her competitions and had put it in a savings account years ago. Luckily, she'd chosen the best time and was able to use only a little bit of it when she needed it for Rose. There was still a lot there and it was still growing.

"Shall we walk?"

Clint smiled at her offer.

"I'll let you know," he replied, "I don't want to take advantage of you."

He offered his arm to her.

"Yes, let's walk."

Natasha shook her head and smiled. "You wouldn't be taking advantage," she admitted. "I promise."

She blinked when he offered his arm, but she smiled and took it. "Alright then. Let's do this."

Clint smiled as they walked.

"I do have an idea but I don't know how feasible it actually is," He admitted. "A microscope I can hook up to a monitor."

Natasha thought about it and tilted her head. "My company handles some great contracts. I think I might have a connection," she offered. "Let me see what I can do."

Clint smiled.

"You know Rose does that too when she's thinking...."

The woman paused and straightened up her posture. "Oh. I guess sheust have picked that up from me," she apologized. "Sorry?"

"Nothing to apologize for, it's cute," he replied. "I didn't mean to make you self conscious about it."

She chuckled a little bit. "No. Not self conscious," she admitted. "But I don't want her picking up on everything I do. I want her to have some work-life balance when she gets older."

"Good idea, I can shower and clear put any remaining hint of cigarette smoke there might still be on me so I'm not a problem."

And then I'll invite him over here with Phil so they can see where the nanny and the cleaner will be working and what they're facing," she offered. "Does that work for you? Or... Or should we meet elsewhere? But I feel like I hog time with Penny and you don't get very much time with her."

"You don't hog Penny at all," Clint assured her. "I'm just not home nearly enough to spend as much time with her as you do."

He glanced down at Penny.

"So yeah, I'd love to have more time with our little girl. Especially if it means not fielding Tony asking about when he can meet her."

The redhead nodded and stood up from the chair. "Then you take care of her, I'll go make the phone calls," she stated. "And maybe we should go ahead and do something for the team to meet her. After we get the place cleaned up."

"You're fine, I was just thinking you wanted the cheese pizza for now and was worried you were anticipating having issues with other toppings."
