Imperfect Pantoum #1
I'll be the meticulous twist of the tendons in wrists you be the magnet that moves my iron filing frame as they fall around my birdcage ribs first thing in the morning, you promise to keep me in coffee
you be the magnet that moves my iron filing frame and all these one night stands we keep having first thing in the morning, you promise to keep me in coffee I think in the fear of falling skies will pass
and all these one night stands we keep having I think that everyone sometimes has to pray I think in the fear of falling skies will pass last thing in the night when we're both drunk

Quiet weekend
It didn't start off as a quiet weekend. I went out for a few quiet drinks with an old friend on Thursday, it turned into more than a few loud drinks. A really good night but I had my wallet stolen. It was in my bag when I got on the underground, it was not in there when I got off. Frustrating!
I've used my quiet weekend to think about life and such. It's been pretty good. I've been planning on finishing my studies for the last 2 and a half years. It's been difficult with travel and temp jobs but now that I'm stable I think it's time to take the plunge. I'm not really sure where I want it to take me, I just enjoy learning... I'm going to contact the university on Monday.
I am liking all of this to putting roots down. Good feeling.
