Cold coffee (the Italian kind — espresso frozen into a crystalline mass), with tiny crystals of ice melting on your tongue.
On a hot summer day — it’s the perfect choice. You can make it at home. It’s easy. But I’m having mine at a bar. And it’s not just coffee. It’s a small pleasure. You don’t just taste it — you exchange a joke with the barista, catch a spark of good mood, and carry it with you all day.
That’s the Italian way of life. The art of finding joy in absolutely everything — from a shard of ice to a shared laugh.

Sometimes, peace appears without explanation.
And maybe we don’t always need to search for a reason.
Maybe some days are simply softer than others.

The Distance That Still Feels Close
Some days, happiness arrives quietly. Not with fireworks. Not with promises.Just with a notification. It doesn’t even have to be immediate.Sometimes it’s after a week.Sometimes the next day.Sometimes just when I’ve convinced myself not to expect anything. And yet… there it is. I’ve learned something about longing lately. It doesn’t always scream.Sometimes it sits patiently in your…
