yes, it would be perfect! By the way, Bomb Girls has a character called Gladys who is a bit Spencer like (especially in S2). Afterellen has nicknamed her Gladys Hastings and a few fans have developed the headcanon that she is Spencer’s grandma :D
THIS is exactly the right way to try to get me to watch a new canon. <3 I shall get on it, then. ;)

oh and Annie- world famous detective- and Spencer would make for a great crossover. Audrey could come too!
YES. When I mentioned Spencer/Annie to aphroditemine earlier, she also suggested Audrey, so yes, that's definitely an OT3 right there. <3 Spencer and Annie would compete over grades (which would, no doubt, make me ship them harder), and Audrey would tell them that in the real world, there's no algebra. It'd be perfect.

I AM! I am always late to these things, but it also means that I get to finish seasons of tv in days, which is my preferred way of consuming media. ;)I really, really like it, surprisingly. I tend to enjoy sitcoms from time to time, but never get fannish over them? BUT! Community seems to be the exception, possibly due to my predictable fangirling of Annie (we’ll blame this on Spencer withdrawal: HI, I HAVE A THING FOR OVER-ACHIEVING SLIGHTLY WHIMSICAL NEUROTIC BRUNETTES!).I have random issues with things like the fail of Abed’s cultural background episodes, the inconsistency of Britta’s arc (I love her, I just don’t trust the writers with her), the general failing at queer themes/representation, and the consistent failing of Bechdel, but um, I really like it? I like all of the characters and have even come to enjoy Jeff (which is unheard of with me and white male protagonists). I really enjoy the fannish geekery meta level, which reminds me of “The Middleman,” which is always good. And have I mentioned Annie? Because there’s Annie. <3
Carmela Soprano, Jeff Winger, Fitch Cooper
Oh I miss Fitch!;)

It’s just marvellous!
Onto Series 2! It's so much blasted fun and the cast is so great that my mind just merrily skips across the plotholes

i still liked ian throughout all of it idk i couldn’t stop it was awful
Everything he does is out of panic, and he's not a natural murderer, per se; every gunshot he fires, every hole he digs, he gets a little wilder, a little more desperate... How can I hate a slat-faced clammy-hearted average-intelligence killer I can't

alice liking zoe was one of my favorite things about the show ;;
man i wanted them to hang out in fuzzy socks and sweaters and drink wine while alice giggles and flicks zoe's eyelashes and zoe flinches

oi, my brooding is ready

I couldn’t believe Zoe was actually dead!!! I was sure it would end up being just a flesh wound or something. I was so distraught! But, haha Alice, yes I do love sociopathic attempting empathetic Alice.
I appreciated that the series gave Zoe some depth, and several scenes without Luther showing how torn she is. Indira has been making me cries ever since Rome
And Aliiiiiiice Aliiiiiiiice normally I would protest her being shoehorned into every episode, what with Luther taking breaks from super-time-intensive cases to chill with her like Matthew's weekend vacays in WWII, but I don't care Aliiiiiiiiice

that episode destroyed me (but omg, alice’s little faaace when she says that! <3)
episode 5 was devastating, because although I'd been spoilered re:Zoe's fate I didn't think it would happen so soon. And yes Ruth Wilson's face when Luther tells her Zoe is dead, like she's fighting her natural expression of like sadistic whimsy because she actually cares about Luther so there's curiosity and hope and wariness flitting across her marvelous features <3333333

THAT IS THE SWEETEST THING YOU COULD POSSIBLY SAAAAYYYYY. (enjoy the tears!)
You realize I now extra-want that spy AU in which Polly Walker is Idris's mentor and Ruth Wilson is her serial-killer half-sister
and idk Charlize is in there too as a careerist politico and Fassbender can come along only if he promises to play nice (by which I mean make out with his android twin)

SCREAMS ISN’T SHE GRESAT
just like with cersei, i knew i was already going to love her but black holes and blazers and casual strangulation on a bridge <33333333 ugh EXCEED MY DREAMS
[Downton needs a serial killer at this point to shake things up, y/y?]
