Things have been a smidge busy over here and it's been a good while since I've sat and stitched. Tonight, I took a break from The Kraken sampler to try another of Ben Drew's designs. This time, I'm tucking into the Cyrillic mini sampler as a gift for my sister, who's learning Russian. There's something incredibly relaxing about repeating motifs. I think part of it is getting into the flow of the stitching where you don't need to look at the pattern except to check to make sure that you've stitched the correct number of motifs. I need to spend more time stitching, but these next few weeks will be questionable as to my amount of spare time. I'll continue to update as I make progress, though!
