What if Mana and Allen had some more adventures in the snow before Allen got his new outfit. Maybe they found an old sleigh and Mana pulled him a while as the boy was tired and freezing.

Can we have a little bit of comfort for these two broken souls?

It has been a hot minute since I repainted him and sometimes I just need ... time to get to take photos (sorry Road and Tyki your time will come I promise). I am kinda in denial I painted him, he looks so different from before.

Mana and his dog.

It has been a while since I took him out, before I left for the Connichi we had a festival and the tent was set up but I was so tired after the festival that I didn't came to take photos there until the very morning before I left. Somehow I decided Mana and the first Allen Plush are deserving of photos there.

... we don't talk about the fact that these photos were taken in September and I kept on pushing them back.

WiP - New Face up & Hat for Mana

As I have some spare time between projects I decided to refresh some face ups, Mana was next.

And as you can see it was ... about time.

After cleaning the head I added some skin texture as he's an older character.

Then on top I added the base blush work. After a layer of sealant I started to work on the lines.

I think you can already tell that there is a huge difference between the first and the new face up. I really liked to paint the eyebrows, slowly I learn to like painting them.

So here is fresh and in all his glory.

But the hat he had needed a makeover as well. His hat was the first I did for one of the D.Gray-man dolls and I used Worbla back then and it was .... more crooked than anything.

I decided to replace it with a hat made from foam. But like always I created a new decoration for Mana, I wanted to stay true to the Manga but Mana has indeed... none. :( that was too plain for my taste.

So as you can see I added a black ribbon with silver glitter and three white paper flowers. The paper flowers reference to the one Allen put in Mana's coffin.

Well deserved upgrade here <3

More Allen photospam with the official introduction of his newly finished outfit <3

This is btw the last photo I took before he fell over and the face up got damaged, I was taking the pics to show off the finished outfit and while I still miss his old eyebrows I now can see it might be for the better that I was forced to repaint him.

He has changed in the series, found himself again and with stepping away from the former Allen, the Exorcist runaway... this doll also upgraded. It's a journey, open to new horizons.

Outtakes - New year’s eve.

Sometimes I have an idea and it doesn’t turns out like I imagined it to be, these photos are the outtakes, sometimes I post them.. sometimes not.

It took me overall 5 attempts to be satisfied in regards of my new year’s eve photos with Red but somehow I was sad that the other’s were about to get sour on my laptop while the fandom needs more love.. therefore.... more Red for everyone <3

I actually took these before Chapter 246 came out but decided to post them later, until things have settled a bit. I already had feelings as i took the photos but they got even more intense after the chapter release... I am glad to finally share them T_T

What lies beyond this field of memories...?

I actually managed to find an actual wheat field. It’s said to be the most popular kind of grain but actually is not really grewn where I live. Anyway, I took this before a downpour of rain and they give the whole set a more heavy atmosphere than the set with Allen. One day I will do a group pic when all are finished.
