I've been trying to learn how to draw over the last few months (primarily so I can draw Them), but I realized I haven't been posting my attempts to Tumblr, just Twitter, and that is a travesty :PSo here ya go! My most recent finished drawing! (Please be nice lol)

ICE BROKE INTO MY APARTMENT COMPLEX

On Jan 22nd, 2026, ICE agents broke the locks to the gates surrounding our apartment complex without knowledge or permission of the property managers, supposedly in a "targeted" raid against one individual living here. Notice how it's always "a targeted raid" for a "dangerous illegal" when ICE gets caught breaking the law.

They had NO warrants, not one by a judge (which they legally need), NOR did they bother filling out the ICE warrant paperwork (which is bs and not legally binding anyway, but they didn't even TRY). Not even so much as warning the property managers, whose office is easily accessed from OUTSIDE the gates.

Here's the email we got later that day:

I'm calling bullshit. Even if it WAS a "dangerous criminal guilty of assault" as they claimed (in which case they'd already be in jail), they BROKE THE LOCKS AND INVADED. My theory? Considering ICE just "happened" to show up the same day construction began within the complex, my bet is they're just following construction workers to deport anyone of color, and use that as an excuse to unlawfully enter. Not that they need one, clearly they can do whatever they want and kill whomever they please.

Earlier today, we sent out a text alert based on the information available to us at that time. Since then, we have been able to gather additional details and wanted to provide a transparent update.

We understand that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) was present on the property today. Law enforcement officials gained access to the community by cutting a lock and entered our property without our knowledge. According to the Fullerton Police Department, they entered to search for an individual they were attempting to apprehend. This action was taken by law enforcement directly, and not at the request or authorization of property management.

At this time, we do not have any additional information regarding the outcome of today’s events. We recognize that this situation may have caused concern or uncertainty, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to obtain accurate information.

Your peace of mind are very important to us. If you are seeking further details regarding today’s incident, we recommend contacting Homeland Security or the Fullerton Police Department directly, as they are the appropriate agencies to address specific questions.

Shoutout to that one person in my high school choir who, during rehearsal, upon the choir director enforcing a sudden cutoff in the song by shouting "freeze!", seized the opportunity to go "Everybody clap your hands!"

The vast majority of the choir did exactly what you know we did, and the teacher was both baffled and very upset.

They of course got admonished by the director, but it is a moment I will always remember as a much-needed stress reliever during a long, arduous rehearsal session.

Thank you, Lilian. Your sacrifice and bravery shall not soon be forgotten.
