What's the difference between acrobat and aerialist?

((While John and jake are in both senses aerialists, because of what they do in theirs acts, but an aerialist is a type of acrobat. Acrobats do a number of things, but if they are an aerialist they specialized in things in “the air.” If you wanted ton know the difference between John and Jake, Jake is different from John because he mainly swings on a silk rope, while John takes the trapeze act. They are both aerialists but at the time we were unaware John was an aerialist as well. Thanks for asking!
