—After further deliberation between the Garden Tea Festival staff, we have decided to disregard Squall’s last bid for Quistis Trepe with the sum of 2 million gil.

From the beginning we have stated that the sum used to win the desired host must be realistic to the character’s income. While Cid Raines and Ultimecia’s bids on Seifer’s behalf are high, we take into account the fact that they do have substantial ways of accruing that much gil. (And Ultimecia IS a sorceress with a huge palace, so)

Therefore, the last bid is awarded to Cid Raines on behalf of Seifer, with the sum of 700,001 gil.
