To me, the look on Viktor’s face when Mel walks off and Jayce is gazing at her is “really bro? We have shit to do, focus” and the look on Mel’s face when Viktor is arguing against the weapon is “let me talk to you when you’ve calmed down” but to them, the former is hard evidence that Viktor is in love with Jayce, and the latter is Mel looking down on Viktor for being disabled or poor or some shit. He’s not poor but ykwim

To me, if Viktor were in love with Jayce, he would have looked upset, sad or even afraid when he caught Jayce staring at Mel, not mildly annoyed.

But of course, they also somehow at the same time maintain that he was never gazing at Mel because they constantly argue that their attraction to each other just popped up out of nowhere. Funny how that works.
