Holy fuck people. It’s an email signature.

I created these cute and simple email signatures for everyone. The logo was old and low quality, there were far too many words, and it was in a weird order.

I shortened it, threw in a better logo that had less words in it (company name without the slogan and crap), and made sure it looked aesthetically pleasing by bolding the employee name and adding italics to the address. Simple, easy, and what every website says you should do.

MY SUPERVISOR LIKED IT!!! I thought finally this was going to be good. But of course not. She then compared it with hers...

“Why is the logo smaller?”

“Why is it in that order?”

“Where are all the extra things?”

The logo is smaller so it doesn’t overpower the entire email (it was so big that it would double the length of a normal email). It is in that order because people are more like to phone than look at our address. The logo also shouldn’t be at the bottom since it has our name and we can just put the address in after it without having to state our company name again. I got rid of the extra logo words because it doubles the length of the email signature and has no immediate need to be there.

“Let me talk to *boss* about this because I think she would have done it this way for a reason... I think that logo should be bigger for sure though. I’ll get back to you but I bet it will need to be changed.”

WHY HAVE ME CHANGE ANYTHING IF YOU JUST WANT IT TO BE THE SAME!? Ugh... I told her I can justify making the logo a little bigger but the rest seems superfluous. Pretty sure she had to google what that word means.
