I want to write more and my DA OC’s are the ones I can write easily at the moment!

Just a little something I would like to think if 4 of my Inquisitors survived the Conclave. I’ve been stuck in this AU hellhole.

The four “criminals” all sat on their knees in the dank holding cell. They shared the same look on their worn out faces: defeat.

“Un-fucking-believable,” the female dwarf muttered angrily, glaring at the locks on the door.

“You know, if you stare hard enough, you might burn through the lock,” the human male spoke out, humor lacing his voice.

“You’re a mage, why don’t you do it?” The dwarf snapped at the human.

A bashful chuckle escaped from the man, “I-I would…if I knew any fire spells.”

Letting out a half snarl and growl, the dwarf turned her glare towards the human. “Great! Of all the mages, we’re stuck with one who is incompetent!“

"Hey! I’m not the only mage here,” the human countered back, gesturing his head towards the quiet female Qunari. She sat in the corner away from the others. Not once has she said a word.

A tired sigh came from the female elf. She kept her distance from the others. The dwarf and the human turned as much as they could to face the elf.

“You got something to say?” the dwarf challenged the elf.

“Running would make us guilty,” the elf spoke firmly, revealing her heavy Dalish accent. She seemed to be choosing her words carefully before speaking.

“She is right,” the Qunari added softly, speaking for the first time since they were placed in the cell, “even if we escape or stay, we are already seen as criminals.”

The dwarf snorted, “It doesn’t matter to me— I am one.”

The human stared wide eyed at the dwarf, “People think that we had something to do with destruction of the Conclave. Don’t you want to clear your name?”

There was the sound of ropes falling to the ground and the three occupants all look to the grinning dwarf. “Well it won’t matter,” she started while rubbing her raw wrists, “I’ll be long gone by the time they question me.”

16. What would the Fear Demon say to them in the Fade to try and discourage them? 

Fear Demon: Why struggle against your nature, Aella? The Ben-Hasserath that almost took you knew how dangerous you were. Perhaps they should have finished the job. Aella: I’ll show how dangerous I can be.

Fear Demon: Malika! How can you live if you can’t even stay out in the sun for too long? Your mother should have left you in the Deep Roads when she had the chance. Malika: *yells and screams crude insults*

Fear Demon: Garas quenathra, Sinai? Ma banal las halamshir mala vhen. Are you still Dalish or have the shems changed you? (What are you doing, Sinai? You do nothing to further your people.) Sinai: Ar tu na'lin emma mi! (I will see your blood on my blade)

Fear Demon: Oh, ho, ho. I will enjoy killing your friends one by one, Vincent. I will make you watch before leaving you all by your lonesome. Won’t that be fun? Vincent: Stop it! I won’t let you!

9. Where in Skyhold would they be found? (e.g. Cole is in the tavern rafters, Leliana in the top of the tower, Varric in the throne room, etc.)

Vincent would be in that room with the abandon library. You know, the one that’s somewhere under Josie’s office/room? Yeah, all the books for him to read in solitary!

I see Malika in the tower where you can do your requisitions—on the second floor. She’s able to be close to the training area and/or practice dummies where Casandra is at. Plus the tavern is super close.

Sinai would be on the second level of the garden area. She likes the view of the garden and appreciates the small patch of nature. It makes her think about her clan and the years camping out in the woods and what not.

You know where Hawke and the Warden would be when they visit Skyhold? Aella would be there to meditate in peace. She’ll be seen in different areas where the rest of the companions are to check in on them.

Cole’s comments about my quizzies!

Distant rumbles, heat festering, flickering, waiting to burst. She stands solid to keep it all in.

Only one life, but he has lived thousands in pages. The house in his head makes him feel less lonely.

Screaming at the sun, she dares the heat to lick her skin until it’s sore and scorched.

Familiar faces slowly dissolving away with every step she takes. Halam'shivanas, she repeats and repeats.

So I wrote some banter between Aella and some of the companions! More will be added later! Long text post is long; so under read more! Also forgive me if some character sound off– I’m trying!

Varric: Can I get something off my chest? Aella: I don’t think your chest hair will appreciate that. Varric: Ha! Friendly has some jokes! Will wonders ever cease me? Aella: What is it that you wanted to talk about? Varric: I’ll get back to you on that. I’m still in shock. Aella: *sighs*

Cassandra: Your assistance in the Inquisition will not be forgotten, Adaar. Aella: How can I turn away from a just cause? Cassandra: I had expected for you to return to your mercenary band. Aella: It is still dealing with some of the losses we had after the Conclave. I could have returned, but I feel like I should stay. Cassandra: Perhaps the Inquisition could help with your forces… Aella: That would be a kindness.

Sera: *giggles* Aella: Is something wrong, Sera? Sera: Oh nothin’ wrong. All sorts of right. In places too. Aella: I’m…afraid I don’t understand. Sera: Shush! Don’t need to understand—just stand there, yeah? Aella: But I will be in your way. Sera: All the better! *giggle snorts*

Iron Bull: So… Aella: So… Iron Bull: Right… Aella: We don’t have to make this awkward. Iron Bull: I know…Is it still awkward? Aella: Not even a sharp blade could cut the tension.

Solas: I have not encounter with many Qunari mages outside of the Qun before. Aella: We are not exactly a large commodity. Solas: You would be considered a Saarebas otherwise. Aella: You are correct. Solas: It is remarkable to see a hedge mage like yourself to show such control over your magic. Aella: It would take one to notice one, yes? Solas: *chuckles* You are correct.

Cole: That nug we passed wanted to thank you. Aella: Thank me? Cole: It stumbled, staggered into the fight, but you saved it before it joined the bodies. Aella: Well…Such an innocent thing shouldn’t be in the crossfire. Cole: Gentle and giant—kindness is your strength, not weakness. Aella: That is an interpretation. Cole: If we walk slowly, the nug wishes to join you! Aella: …How far is the nug?
