I could lose hours sitting beside her, and today I did. She wandered around while I sketched, then grew curious about my pen as I wrote in my quotes journal (I'm picking it up again after pausing at 320 quotes♡) and slowly drifted closer. It’s the first time she’s approached me on her own! She even let me gently pet her (her fur is the softest thing ever!!!). Then carefully inspected my shoes before moving on 🐐🤎

Some farm work, a long 50-minute chat with a dear friend, a full plate of lunch, a walk that felt good and energizing, and so much more. Something about the day made effort feel easy ♡

I reached 300 quotes in my journal! I think I’m ready to pause on collecting quotes for a bit, not sure for how long, but it feels like the right time. Hoping to spend more time in my sketchbook now; I miss drawing regularly. Reading too is on the horizon. There are books I’ve been wanting to lose myself in, and I wish to finally make the time 💚💚

My handwriting looks a bit wobbly, I haven’t written anything in a while and it shows. My hand felt kind of unsteady, but it was nice to be back on paper, and finish my quotes journey 💌

There’s a chance my studyblr might start up again sometime soon... maybe. Not making any promises yet, but I’ve been thinking about it more.
