This city welcomed Jesus because of the testimony of one woman. She didn’t have to tell the story of how she got saved. Rather, she spoke about the good news of Jesus, what He spoke to her and taught her, and the promise of eternal life. - Princesses, your testimony, your story with God is powerful. 📝 In my mind, I know, "the joy of the Lord is my strength," but when I'm down, I often ask God how to find His strength in joy when I don't feel joyful. It's hard to dance and sing when all I feel is the sorrow and suffering. "But listen," the Lord says to you and to me, "set your mind on things above and not on things on earth. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and thank Me in all of your circumstances, then the joy will come." - Sometimes, I wish my life was simple so I could just rest all day, without stress and bad news and just spend my time with God. What a nice thought! But this is not His way. He says to us, "Yes, daughter, seek Me but not after the storm, in the middle of chaos, look to Me while you are surrounded by confusion, and lean on Me when your strength is no more."🌊 - It would be easier if our life was uninterrupted, but He challenges us to be in constant awareness of His presence, while we face the challenges (and good moments) in our days. - Princesses, let's find the ways in which we can be thankful, becoming daughters who are in constant communion with God, and yes, who rejoice always because God is still good. It says in Colossians 3:17, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” - My encouragement to you is to Stay Faithful! Keep doing what God has called you to do. You may not reap the fruit just yet but keep sewing and planting your seed. Nobody may take notice of your sacrifice but God sees you, and His approval is what matters most of all. He is so proud of you, Beloved. Your obedience and faithfulness are pleasing to Him! - Father, thank you for my sisters in Christ, for your lovely and faithful daughters. Lord, I know the temptation to want other's approval and attention for our good works, but you are a God who rewards those who work in secret, who delights in those who don't boast, and is pleased with those who do all things for you and only you... so help us, Holy Spirit.
