Thinking about how Ichigo probably wouldn’t be the type to want his birthday to be a big deal. Like he doesn’t pan to do anything special aside from maybe have a treat.
But I make it a point to make sure his day is special because he means to much to me. He does so much for literally everyone around him, and I want him to feel appreciated. I want to see him smile.
I want to do loads of nice things for him. Take him to special places. Feed him special foods. Shower him in physical affections because him being here in this world is just so precious.
I want him to recognize his value. I want him to truly taste the spice of life at least once a year to take a break from the same old same old day by day existence.
I want it to be a day where he doesn’t have to struggle. Where he doesn’t have to fight. Where he doesn’t have to worry. All I want him to think about is enjoying the moment. About having an experience. Hopefully one he can remember fondly.
I want to do this for him. And so I do.
And at the end of it all, he tells me the thing that made him happiest all day, was having me in his arms 🥹🧡🧡🧡.
