♥, ( =①ω①=) , (・∀・ ), (´ q ` ” ), and (・□・;).
♥ = Character’s preference for relationships (sexuality, type of person, etc.)
His sexuality is bisexual, but he covers up that fact with his alluding womanizer persona. Only subtly will he come on to a man since homosexuality isn’t exactly accepted, especially in the military.
As for the type of person he is interested in, as much as it’s frowned upon, he does prefer a soldier. It makes it easier to relate to them. He has seen a lot of soldiers relationships crumble because of the stress that war brought (granted some can make it work) and he feels that he can open up easier without having to dwell in a back story every fresh start.
He can easily be selfish and say that he does enjoy looks. It would be a lie for him to try to admit otherwise. Although, looks do attract him at first, it’s the personality that can really reel him in. Someone that he can throw jabs at playfully, but someone that can also dish them out. Someone that has a good head on their shoulders, even if they aren’t positive of where their path will lead them. Typically what turns him off is someone overbearing with religious aspect as he personally doesn’t believe in any of the sort.
( =①ω①=) = What animals the character likes and if they have a pet/pets
Roy feels indifferent towards animals and pets simply because he doesn’t have the time for one. However, he has no problem giving a little attention to other people’s pets.
(・∀・ ) = The character’s emotional state most of the time
Since Roy is at work most of the time, he typically comes across as a very stoic type of person. He isn’t one to wear his heart on his sleeve. He feels that that type of vulnerability can only weigh a person down and possibly get them killed. Plus, putting his emotions aside is what he does best to keep himself protected. Only the people he is closest to get to see his more relaxed side.
(´ q ` ” ) = The character’s “guilty” pleasure
Asides having intimate relations with any other soldier, maybe the fact that he enjoys music more than he is willing to admit. For some reason he feels embarrassed, especially if he gets caught singing. Growing up with a piano within his reach, he couldn’t help but picking the talent up even if now he has become a bit rusty.
(・□・;) = What makes the character uncomfortable
Honestly the most simplest of things: talking about his emotions and/or his past. He has learned to put away his emotions and often does so because of the pain brought on by them. He feels very exposed and powerless when he is caught in a situation that causes him to reveal any of the sort. That isn’t saying that he won’t talk about them, but if you aren’t particularly close to him, he’ll probably try brushing the topic aside.
