Hello! I saw this post (see below) and I agree with everything. I just have a question. Shi/Hir pronouns are only meant to be used by Intersex folks? It was mentioned in the post and this is the first I’m hearing of this so I’d like to hear what you and other intersex people think. Thank you.

The anon in question has already found their answer on another site, but I would like to make it clear that I assume myself to be perisex. I have not been tested for the intersex hormonal variation I suspect I may have, so I don't claim myself to be intersex. I do not want to speak over intersex people on their own issues, theory or experiences. I do however believe in intersex liberation as I believe in the inherent allyship between those outside of the bourgeois patriarchal binaries of sex and gender, so I reblog from intersex liberationists, activists and people who discuss their own experiences. How come if I'm mad and bitter because I was abused I'm an "angry alter" or "agressive personality"and that's a problem or makes me "dangerous" when singlets can walk around and feel mad as hell most of the time and they're just grumpy or an asshole or troubled? The fuck is this??

Man, trying to figure out my system is HARD. Like the more I delve into this, the more worried I am that I'm exaggerating symptoms/imagining it/faking, and I think it makes me almost not want to explore it further. I think I'm literally scared of exploring it further in fear of "the lie falling apart" or something. Like, I've gotten where sometimes I don't even let myself talk to my headmates because I'm afraid no one will answer back or I'll "realize" I've been making it up the whole time and I'll have to accept that I'm not actually a system.

It doesn't help that they've been a bit quieter and harder to contact lately, so it almost feels like I'm losing the motivation to keep up the facade or something. Like I've "lost interest" in the "fantasy" and now they're quieter because I'm not spending so much time talking to them, and therefore not as much time "coming up with" their answers and stuff.

Plus, their communication constantly leaves me wondering if maybe it really is all in my imagination. It's not "hearing voices in my head," it's more like they "vibe at" me and I just *understand* what they're thinking. Sometimes I can sort of hear them talk if I really focus on it and intentionally talk to them, but it's still quiet and foggy and not distinct. And that never happens unintentionally, I have to focus to make that happen.

I just worry that I somehow made all this up because I'm lonely or because I'm trying to "fit in" with my friend. Maybe it's just my overactive imagination and I've convinced myself that they're real because I want them to be. And maybe that's why it's changing so much and all over the place, it's too hard for me to keep consistent since it's not actually happening to me, I'm just making it up and convincing myself that it's real. Maybe I'm making myself feel dissociated on purpose so there's something to hold onto as evidence? And that's why it seems to pop up more when I think about it?
