PRINTS from their recent shoot litered the ground of the room and Alyss shamelessly sat indian style in the middle of them on the floor, lips in a frown as she pondered them all before her. The girl’s concentration was unphased by his arrival, even as he came to lay out on the couch that her back rested against. She felt his watching eyes and mumbled, “I want to put one into my portfolio, but I’m not sure which…” Her head turned slightly to look over her shoulder, feeling his weight shift slightly as he made few movements out of his position of rest, only merely tipping his head slightly over the edge of the couch to get a better view of the set. After a moment of silence and watching his eyes move over the pictures once, twice, he grunted and shut them, laying an arm over his forehead. She could only roll her eyes and shrug, not actually expecting him to help her very much in the first place. Even so, with the back of his head leaning against her shoulder off of the couch as a pillow, she turned her head and guided his head to tilt towards hers so she could steal a peck to his lips, kissing at him upside down, lingering only for a moment before she began to gather the prints up, smiling to herself. “Always can count on you, Zach.”
