Been working on my #robo3d #r1plus firmware settings, so I decided it was time to try my first #3dbenchy . Temperature too high and it's not hard to guess what layer I remembered I'd disabled the cooling fan, but other than temperature and maybe adjust retraction, it looks satisfactory to me. 0.2mm layer height, white #dazzlelight pla, stock extruder. #3dprinting #makersgonnamake #toyboat (at Saukville (town), Wisconsin)
The thing where I draw some lines on the computer and a couple hours later have the physical thing? It never stops being magical. #3dprinting #robo3d #r1plus (at Saukville (town), Wisconsin) https://www.instagram.com/p/B9DHQMqnTkW/?igshid=1oiuwqtc6whvc
Things are looking good on the first layer of my largest volume print to date. Not a huge footprint, but it's going to use a fair amount of the available height. May not really need the raft, but I find it helps the supports stay adhered, and there's going to be plenty supports. About a 600 gram print, so I figured better safe than sorry. Been waiting for the high winds to pass through before starting since the electricity has been so unreliable this year. Credit to Fotis Mint on #myminifactory for the model, not that you can tell what it is just yet. #3dprinting #robo3d #r1plus #3dprinter #inlandfilament #halloween #monkeyisland #murraythedemonictalkingskull #makersgonnamake (at Saukville, Wisconsin) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bo0kvwnn6EH/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=a15saehsgzq7
Firing up the #robo3d #r1plus #3dprinter for the first time in 4 months. I sure hope I've remembered all the necessary steps. I know people in the Facebook group tend to have trouble when their printers have sat unused for too long. Probably should have PID tuned. Wanted to get to printing my latest inadvisable design. First layer is looking good. Wish me luck. #3dprinting #makersgonnamake (at Saukville, Wisconsin) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnbnIGWn0WO/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=8jbvmrs6to0b
#trytryagain - this time in black. Really hoping this is the last iteration for this design. Also, happy one year #anniversary to my #robo3d #r1plus #3dprinter. Many upgrades complete, many more to go. #3dprinting #makersgonnamake (at Saukville (town), Wisconsin)
Fancy lump of plastic in progress. #3dprinting #robo3d #r1plus #makersgonnamake (at Saukville (town), Wisconsin)
I've finally gotten a chance to try a 0.3mm nozzle on my #robo3d #r1plus It's looking good so far. No leaks. Be interesting to see how this calibration box comes out as I've suspected the diameter of the 0.4mm nozzle that came with the machine is actually nearly 0.45mm. #3dprinter #3dprinting (at Saukville (town), Wisconsin)
