Toughts on new tf2 uptade?

I haven’t played TF2 hardcore for a little while (mainly a pub server here and there), but I still follow the subreddit. Here are my thoughts:

Liking the matchmaking setup, seems clean and straightforward. Don’t have enough time on my hands to play serious comp, but I’m happy the game is evolving.

The new UI for gameplay is nifty. We needed some cleanup.

Upset about no more Valve pubs, but I still have my dedicated servers so no biggie for me. Can see why it’s a problem for others.

More annoyed about lack of choice in matchmaking. No, Valve, let me play payload 24/7 and rank up a bit, I’m not looking into getting into UGC.

Super-needed balance changes for most classes. Pyro seems to have been nerfed a bit. Engie seems to have been buffed a lot. And as an Engie main, all I can say is YEE-FUCKING-HAW

Also Medic speed buff is best buff

I was originally going for Team Heavy because his playstyle is really bland even though it’s balanced well, but with the Pyro nerf I had to choose team Pyro to get him back to a viable place in the standings.

Overall, really happy that TF2 is getting some love big-time.
