everybody drawing OUAW for the upcoming episode i cant wait till i get time to do it too
In my "31 Days of Vaati" for Inktober 2017 series, I- of course- inked them out in Faber-Castell liners... ...But, I sort of cheated and coloured all but one of them in Faber-Castell Aquarelle coloured pencils...
I say all but one, because the last one ("Mask") actually was coloured in Copic Markers, all because it didn't occur to me until then that markers could count as inks. Well, I thought, DO markers really truly count?
But then I remembered that calligraphy ink is an ink. So, I got my hands on two bottles of Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay ink, in Magenta and Blue, and tested them out ink-wash style. All with Vaati as my drawing subject, naturally.
(I keep seeing everybody else draw Vaati- and everybody else is so much better than me- I feel so inferior aasdjdfsjkl.)
As you can plainly see, the paper got all warped/warbled- so I need some thicker paper, but other than that, I think this looks pretty decent. Spoiler alert, but I think I'll get some more colours and use these inks for this year's Inktober.
Yup. Remember how I said I wouldn't do Inktober this year? Never mind. I'm gonna do it. BRING IT ON. I'M WELL PREPARED THIS TIME.
