I usually listen to music and browse through the horror movie tag of tumblr. I’m a huge slasher/horror nerd. I try to play with my cat as well (when he’s not being a terror lmao)

Okay so idk how to explain this one and idk if it’ll be funny to you guys but it’s about my dachshund/corgi mix. So she was a total derp in her younger years
(she’s 13 now, old pup)
and always followed whoever was closest in the house. It was honestly the cutest thing. I’m also going to add right now that she was also afraid of EVERYTHING. Anyway, back to my dog being a derp.
One day while my siblings and I were going through some old games we had locked away in the closet, we came across an old shoulder-strap bag (idk what to call it) full of PC games and DS games that were still in pretty good condition. So I set it aside, not knowing that my dog wished to investigate it, too. We suddenly heard this loud
crash
and we all turn to see…my ridiculous dog sliding on the tile floor…with the
strap around her neck
…and
the opened bag trailing behind her.
It wasn’t long before the entire event became a wild goose chase. We literally had to hunt her down to remove the bag strap from her neck. Games flew, siblings yelled, and paws scraped. It was chaos… Like I said, she’s afraid of everything, so something must’ve spooked her in the process.

(I think it’s a valid point that although the Gems look feminine by human social standards, they’re technically genderless and although they haven’t contradicted female nouns/pronouns others apply to them I’m not observant enough to recall if they’ve ever used female nouns/pronouns for themselves…anyways, TL;DR I’m grouping the Gems as “female” below for simplicity’s sake but I think the whole discussion of their possible gender identities is super fascinating)

Why I joined the fandom: I watched the pilot when those were going around during pitch season and was kinda mixed on it, but the realization that Rebecca Sugar helmed most of my favorite Adventure Time eps and the fact that “CARTOON NETWORK SHOW HELMED BY A LADY WITH LOTSA COOL LADY CHARACTERS” got me to watch the official premiere. Of course, it was perfect and wonderful, and I’ve been hooked since.
