Just because this picture was too IRONIC not to share… It used to be that this area was predominantly us but thanks to gentrification you get this… I must say, I have to check myself because I’m all for DIVERSITY and INCLUSION! But sometimes I get in my feelings when it seems all our spots are seemingly being TAKEN over… Like they could care less if there’re wanted they just come!

I think WE need to take a PAGE out of theirs and just be CARE FREE Black People and just GO! So I make a point to go to random events in DuPont circle and Georgetown where I KNOW I’ll be the minority but you know what I don’t care because it’s 2017 and like the art says behind these two women it’s time for CHANGE!
