My canonmate of 3 different past lives of mine recommended me an anime (and by recommend, I mean they told me a source they're from) and I immediately went to watch it.

I have to say that a lot like how I figure out a bit about my kins, I predict stuff about a certain character. And oh my god... I did that. Turns out I also kin from it. No idea if the two of us are canonmates or just sourcemates.

It's a really great anime, barely over 6 hours long.

Also, can I just say, the ending was just... perfect. I started crying happy tears when most people probably shouldn't have, but it's fiiiiine

My favorite types of endings in media are ones that are sad from an outsider's perspective but really happy from others pov

I'm guessing that's because of my fictotype, huh?

From an outsider's perspective, it's sad and confusing that a child who was saved by a serial killer would then 2 weeks later be killed by said serial killer.

From my perspective, I was so happy. I cried so many happy tears and smiled as my head was sliced off. No one would ever be able to understand why. But that was the happiest moment of my short life.

Everyone watching, reading, or playing Angels of Death would be horrified that the ending is all the characters died; but for me, as someone who lived through all of that... it was the best ending possible.

Thank you, Zack. Thank you for keeping your promise of killing me. 🤍
