There are a few authors whose books always make me happy to read, and Ms Linden is one of them. I was thrilled to receive an invitation to read this and be part of the book tour via Berkley.

Emmie reallllllly aggravated me at times, but I loved the characters and the way the author writes magical realism to sprinkle in the pages is terrific. The result is a highly readable, magical realism romance with a happily ever after. It took my mind off outside things, and who can ask for more than that sometimes?

Utterly charming and made me crave all the sweets in the house.

The Secret of Orange Blossom Cake: A Novel by Rachel Linden

A love letter to Italy, family, and food.

Full of nonnas, olive oil, coming home, cooking, healing, and a touch of romance, I read this in a day and adored it.

A wonderful read when you’re in the mood for a trip to the lake district, delicious food descriptions, family coming together, and maybe a second chance with the one that got away.
