While the high-profile diplomatic visit, hosted by President William Ruto, was intended to strengthen Kenya-Netherlands relations, it was Rachel Ruto’s fashion that grabbed the most attention online.
During the visit, the First Lady’s wardrobe sparked comparisons to the outfit she wore at President Ruto’s 2022 inauguration, as she once again opted for a soft, cream-and-off-white color scheme. She wore a stylish peplum top with an interesting layered detail at the waist, paired with a ruffled-hem skirt that many described as graceful and modest.
