Royal Family and Guests Celebrate the Annual Tea Party at the Queen’s Gardens
Every year, HM Queen Sofia hosts the Annual Tea Party for senior members of the royal family, as every Queen of Willow Creek has done before. The location is known as the Queen’s Gardens, and it’s a place that is managed by the Queen in which parents can bring their children to connect with nature and to learn how to plant seeds or even trees. These gardens were designed by Queen Alison, HM King Henry’s grandmother, who used to encourage people to take care of the environment. Queen Sofia is continuing Queen Alison’s work, not only at the Queen’s Gardens but also at the Willow Creek Public Park. HM Queen Naima was also impressed of how green the whole country is, and that’s because the parliament has asked the citizens of WC to plant a tree at their homes. It return, there will be a decrease on their taxes.
Today, it’s also HRH Princess Isabella’s first royal engagement! Doesn’t she looks beautifull in her lovely outfit? The third in line to the throne will soon become a teen, but before that happens, the King and Queen want her daughter to get used to the spotlight, so we might see a bit more of our little Princess.
Queen Sofia and her children showed Queen Naima and her son, HRH Crown Prince Kai, one of the greenhouses of the garden. There are five greenhouses at the Queen’s Gardens in which food is being produced for those in need. These vegetables goes to shelters and charity organizations in WC.
After the tour, the two Queens and their children joined the rest of the guests to have tea at the gardens. HRH Ophelia, the Princess Royal and HRH Princess Alecsia were present, of course, and had the chance to meet Queen Naima and her husband HRH Prince Consort Amir. Here are some pictures of the event.
The royals who were also present at the event were the Earl and Countess of Willow Creek, the Viscountess of Willow Creek, HRH Princess Amelia, and George Wellington-Hammond (The Princess Royal’s son.)
The young lady in the picture above is Victoria Smith-Hammond, Princess Alecsia’s daughter who is already a teen. Lady Victoria is not an active member of the royal family, but she is King Henry’s eldest niece and she will probably receive the title of HRH in the future, just like HRH Princess Elizabeth once did.
To commemorate the evet, a portrait of their majesties and their heirs was taken.
