When I look at Remnan and Raqio's relationship as a ship, I often find that I enjoy viewing their relationship as both platonic and romantic

Their relationship is definitely built primarily on a lot of things that aren't physical attraction, including comfort, trust and some degree of finding refuge in each other, and I absolutely love that about them as a person who adores relationships between characters that are based on trust in each other and who don't necessarily have to show physical attraction to show that they care about or love each other

But on the other hand, while I understand the position of those who believe physical attraction has no place in their relationship, I really enjoy exploring their relationship in the context of the romance, especially given Remnan and Raqio's life experiences and personalities. For me, this isn't so much a banality of carnal desires as it is an opportunity to explore more the relationship of my favorite characters from different perspectives

Ultimately... I guess I'm just trying to tell people not to be afraid to explore their relationships? Or rather, I'm just trying to tell myself not to be afraid to show more than hugs and kisses on the cheek
