Hi hi! Here's an EddieRavi prompt for ya; Eddie and Ravi are not yet dating but flirting very heavily at BTs wedding. Do they dance? Do they kiss??

(*smashes that Like button on this concept*)

(I cannot believe I'm saying this, but this...is not porn. Cut for length, though.)

After seeing Buck and Tommy's wedding planning process, Ravi thinks he might have to break the hearts of his entire family and tell them he's never getting married. He loves them both, he's so happy for them and grateful to be part of their wedding day, but he never wants to help with another wedding again for the rest of his life.

Granted, it hasn't been all bad. He and Eddie planned a pretty great bachelor party with Sal, and they might be allowed back at The Venetian in Vegas sometime this decade.

It's there that Ravi gets drunkenly called out for not being able to dance, even though he can, he just doesn't. He's always been a little awkward on the dancefloor. He spent his early adolescence in the hospital, so he wasn't going to a lot of school dances or family weddings.

Eddie had slung an arm around him, his face too close, and offered to teach him to dance. He said he had credentials, which Ravi had waved off at the time.

Now the wedding's happened and they're at the reception, and Ravi's drinking another glass of champagne to avoid doing anything else. A hand rests against his lower back, and he looks over to see Eddie.

"So, I know we kinda got busy with the rest of the wedding stuff," Eddie says, smiling. "But you still down to learn to dance?"

Ravi snorts. "Yeah, okay."

"I'm serious. You're looking at a trophy-winning Junior Ballroom king," Eddie teases.

And Ravi, too curious for his own good, drains the champagne flute before following Eddie out to the dancefloor. Something older is playing, because Buck and Tommy have a bunch of older music set to play until after the cake cutting.

"What do I do?" he asks, and Eddie takes his hands, placing one at his shoulder and holding the other one. A hand settles over Ravi's upper back, giving his arm something to almost rest on, he's pulled a little closer.

"If I do my job right, you don't have to do a whole lot other than follow," Eddie says, his back going straight with his shoulders back. He looks serious, even if he's smiling. "I'm going to step toward you with my right foot, and then it's easy from there. Kind of."

"I'll try to believe you," Ravi says, and Eddie's smile grows into a grin that makes Ravi's face get hot.

It's actually not as bad as Ravi would've thought. Eddie's patient, showing Ravi how a foxtrot works even though he's not all that smooth.

"See? You got it," Eddie praises softly as he dances them around a few couples that are swaying together, including the grooms, who are too wrapped up in each other to notice what's happening around them. "Think you're ready for a turn?"

"I mean, if I mess it up, at least we're in a room full of first responders," Ravi teases, and Eddie laughs, making his stomach flutter. "Go for it."

Eddie guides them to the right, and when he lifts his hand and gently pushes Ravi's upper side with his other hand, it's easy to go into a turn and end up right back where he started.

"Mm, perfect, the judges would've loved that one," Eddie says once he settles back into the same position. "Well, if we were ten. But I think we could do okay now."

Ravi quirks his brows up. "Oh? You in the market for a new partner? Is this my audition?"

"Nah, that was months ago," Eddie says, turning him again. It's hard to look away from his eyes long enough to do it. "No one else stood a chance."

The song changes, and Eddie hums with it for a moment.

"Different tempo," Ravi notes, and Eddie nods. "What's this one?"

"Just a waltz," he says, easily changing the way his feet are moving. "You know, this used to be indecent back in the day?"

"What, like the fifties?" Ravi asks, genuinely curious.

"Nah, like the seventeenth or eighteenth century. I used to the year but--it's because you were chest-to-chest with your partner," Eddie says, drawing him closer and letting Ravi's left elbow dip down when he slides his hand down to Ravi's middle back instead. "You didn't do it as formally, so it was kinda like this instead. Wild, right?"

Ravi can feel Eddie's chest expanded against his with each breath, and he can see the light sheen of sweat at his hairline, the fact that he missed a tiny bit of stubble by his right sideburn, the flecks of lighter brown in his eyes, and the way Eddie's eyes keep looking between his.

"Yeah," Ravi agrees softly. "Wild."

They're close to the edge of the dancefloor, and Eddie backs away from it, but he's still holding Ravi's hand. He looks over his shoulder before backing them up more until he's turning away, hand still in Ravi's, and leading him through the French doors and out to what was the staging/photo area. The vineyard for the winery is nearby, and Ravi sees clouds in the darkening sky, and the air smells damp and a little electric.

Earthquake weather, his Ammumma used to call it.

"It's nice out here," Eddie comments.

"Yeah," Ravi agrees. "Are you gonna kiss me or--"

Eddie's head whips around comically fast, and Ravi bites back a smile before stepping close. Chest-to-chest, like a waltz. He lifts their clasped hands like they're still dancing and looks at them before looking at Eddie.

Except instead of bringing his hand to Ravi's back, Eddie's other hand is cupping his jaw, and he leans in and finally kisses him.

Eddie's lips are soft and damp, and Ravi presses into the feeling of them with a sigh. He can hear their family and friends enjoying themselves inside, but this feels like a private space carved out just for them.

The hand in his squeezes, and Ravi squeezes back before letting go and wrapping his arm around Eddie's shoulders to pull him closer.

They kiss until someone around the corner opens another door and the sounds of the party filter out, louder than it felt even when they were inside.

"We should go back in there, because they're going to cut the cake soon, and we're fucked if we miss that," Ravi says softly, and Eddie nods before kissing him again. "But you should come up to my room tonight if you can get away."

Eddie freezes, his fingers flexing in the fabric of Ravi's jacket. "I-I think I can, yeah. Are you sure?"

"Isn't that supposed to be my line?" Ravi teases.

He rolls his eyes. "Not that. I mean--me."

Ravi smiles, kisses the corner of Eddie's mouth and then his lips. "Yeah. I am."

Eddie smiles back and nods. "Then yeah. I'll see what I can do."

"You're sure?"

"About you? More than you know, Rav," he says, and then Ravi's kissing him again. And then one more time.

And a third time, just to be sure.

Raddie isn’t really a MAJOR ship of mine, it’s like… I’m not obsessed with it but whenever my brain goes “Raven polycule” Maddie’s always there?? I think they’re just inseparable to the point where platonic and romantic lines start to blur for them. but I have a bingo :D
