prompt #3: “talk to me about your favorite book”
it’s 3 am and you’ve just opened the second book for your summer reading challenge.
it’s one of those times where you can completely devour a book in 1-2 hours tops and still have the willpower to start another one.
you’re midway into spark’s a walk to remember when your phone rings. wonwoo just sent you a text.
“i cant sleep :<,” the message reads.
“how can i entertain you?” you quickly message back, eager to find out how jamie and landon’s relationship develops.
“anything will do, i think” he replies quicker than expected.
“i’d talk to you about books, but that’s probably gonna put you to sleep,” you tell him although you’re slightly hoping he’d tell you to do so because you’re dying to spill how conference of birds ended, your new favorite.
“no, no. talk to me about your favorite book,” he replies, an unexpected warmth touches your heart.
and before you know it, an hour has passed and wonwoo is still up and awake, intently listening to you ramble about conference of birds.
