I feel like I need to adress this because some people just don't get it. When I say I used to be a libfem, I mean that I used to be brainwashed.

I mean that I was consumed by the idea of "I have to validate everyone, or else I'm disgusting and disrespectful."

I mean that I used to think I was nonbinsry because I felt as if I wasn't a girl.

As if I wasn't fitting the steryotype enough to be a woman. As if my short hair somehow made me not a girl. As if my liking of the colour blue made me not a girl. As if my wanting to not wear skirts or dresses because I hated my legs made me not a girl. As if I had to prove myself to become a woman.

Now I know I'm not "nonbinary" because there is no such thing. Gender is a social construct that trans, nonbinary, genderfluid, agender, demigender and all those other weirdos enforce. They keep saying "No matter how feminine or masculine I look, I'm still -insert made up gender-" Further pushing the narrative of gender down our throats.

Begging for validation.

Begging for attention.

Yet they call us TERFs, as if we are not just women that want safety for ourselves and other women. As if we are out to get them. As if our feminism is about them. Radical feminism is not about trans women. It is about people who were born with a vagina, being opressed and put in danger. Trans women are not part of that. And it is funny how we are "trans exclusionary" when we do want the best for trans men (FTM). Because they were born women, and that is what feminism is about. Women. Purely women.
