Ok, pitch me it. Gladly. It's the story of a man and his dog. No. I'm kidding. It's the story of falling for your employer. Well, yes, but Kaedee is only his employee for the first roughly 20k words- It's a story about really fucked up sex. Yeah, definitely that. It's a story about love and loyalty and the most grotesque displays of affection you can imagine.

Hey isn't Alastor aroace- wow see if you read the story it talks about that and I think addresses that in a very cool, well-paced way. tl;dr, I write him as having a Complicated relationship with sex and having specific conditions around being willing to do it, and being able to love, just not romantically.

Ok, but for real, what's the gist? Once upon a time, a sinner arrived in hell and decided the body they got sucked majorly and got into a deal with an overlord to get a better one and some fun other powers. Said overlord proceeded to use them as a secret weapon for a few decades before disappearing for seven years. When he came back...things changed. A lot of things changed. And that's where we pick up.

Which entry should I start with? While contract negotiations is the first entry chronologically, a deal's a deal was written first and puts you right into the action. It sets up the whole rest of the series quite legibly. If you don't particularly need to see how Kaedee and Alastor met, start with deal. contract probably reads better if you like their relationship already, anyway, tee bee aych, because he's flippantly atrocious to them there.

Do I need to read them in order, otherwise? Not necessarily. They are incredibly self-referential, but none of it is essential knowledge except for deal. Especially if you want a specific kink, you can just skip to that entry. If, though, you start with the later entries, some things that happen might seem incredibly... sudden. (:

Ok I'm interested but wtf is Kaedee? I have no idea what to picture them as? Are they a petite afab white brunette ya protagonist? A furry (: here's references: ∆ ∆ spoiler

So of all of the marysues, why should I read the one with a nb furry? Well, you should read all of them, because marysues are great. But you should read mine if you like: toxic relationship dynamics, heavy body horror, blood and gore, slow burns, hella sick powers, many things as metaphors for fucking, fucking as a metaphor for many other things, physiologically improbable and inadvisable sex, and because Kaedee is very fucking cool and because Alastor likes them.

The tags scare me! 1- ask and I'll break down exactly what each of them is for, as someone with very nuanced triggers, I don't mind at all, but 2- I do mean all of them, the dove is very dead, and 3- if that all sounds like too much for you, very good, have a nice day!

Can Kaedee and my OC smooch, among other things? (Nobody has actually asked this, or actually, any of the other questions here) Dude, yes.
