Self Inserts Aren't Bad, You're Just Mean by RadPax

Radpax is one of my favorite animators and artists in general on youtube. Radpax along with Kinky Spy are the only speed painters that I can sit through the whole video.

During his discussion of 2020, he mentions how important his art is and doing it regularlh to his mental health. I can’t remember exactly how he phrased it but something about being depressed if the feeling didn’t get a creative outlet.

It just got me thinking of my own baggage and looking back. Tch, its hard to argue with. I don’t draw, I’m more of a writer. I remember one time my tinnitus was getting so bad that I couldn’t hear things well, much less think. I was angry. I don’t normally get angry. Frown upon where I come from. I managed to write out a SAVAGE plot with this one character. Its hard not to miss how pissed I was cuz the Star Sans’ got the full brunt of my lil baby’s furry. I usually don’t have literal examples of feeling better like that. But, it makes me realize how much I took writing for granted as just a hobby that isn’t very important.
