HELLO HELLO!! TYSM FOR SLIDING IN HERE ❤️❤️❤️ yes!!! first time reading td3!!!! it's been wonderful because i've adored trc for 10 years and so to be able to read more in the universe feels both excitingly new and deeply familiar 🥹

during my original trc read, i didn't have strong feelings about declan but i didn't not like him. i adore ronan but ronan is also so opposite to me in almost every way that i never quite trusted his hatred of declan, or at least what that hatred implied about declan's character. but let's all blame niall lynch for the fact that in ronan thinks of his father more like a brother and friend and his actual brother as the father he should resent.

and then cdth declan pov chapters came along and absolutely bodied me lmao declan's experiences as a oldest sibling are obviously escalated to an extreme degree but as an oldest daughter myself i just want to hold him very tightly. particularly the way he represses his own emotions and hides the most interesting parts of his personality to be the safe and stable brother. really representing us oldest siblings who saw their family members with their mental health struggles and explosive emotions and general instability and thought well. i can't have any of that because if you're having a breakdown and i'm having a breakdown then who's driving the car instead i'll just have only the most neutral and safe emotions and no mental health issues whatsoever to keep my family as safe and sane as possible and i'm deciding this at the tender age of 12 and surely this will have no repercussions later in life.

BUT ON A LIGHTER NOTE i also just think declan is. incredibly funny and compelling as a character. he has never had a good day. his diet is coffee and antacids and his tummy hurts constantly. he tries so hard to be as uninteresting as possible but cannot resist a neat pair of shoes. good art makes him want to goddamn cry. he has a secret attic full of it. when he laughs a real, genuine laugh his first instinct is to turn his head like that'll hide it. he dated three fucking ashleys in a row. he cannot help himself from falling in love with dreams even though he's haunted by the constant threat of losing them. he has never belonged at home and never lived his life for himself. he curses his father for things that aren't even technically his fault but i think he should have been allowed to hit niall lynch with a bat anyway.

THIS IS AN EXTREMELY LONG RESPONSE AND NOT NEARLY AS ARTICULATE AS I HOPED BUT YEAH JUST. FEEL REALLY NORMAL ABOUT DECLAN THANK YOU FOR ASKING ❤️❤️

angela is stealth and has been on hrt for 4 years. runs a blog and youtube channel talking about all things horror. is known for having a very "edgy" sense of humour which gets her banned off of social media alot but she refuses to let it go. vikki from what happens next but worse

carol is short for caroline. she is not currently on hormones. became extremely anxious and self-conscious after the incident. writes a lot of fanfic but doesnt have any ambitions to be an editor or work in comics at all. seeks validation from other girls but is often harrassed instead for not passing well

gwen... frequent user of 4chan's /lgbt/ board as stated previously and is extremely depressed as a result, but takes it out on other girls like carol, who is infact her main target. relates heavily to characters like lucy from elfen lied and asuka from eva. has been on hrt for afew months

ok, since i don't really know anyone irl who likes jackass, i'm asking y'all.

i've been a casual fan since 2021 and full-blown hyperfixated on jackass steadily since march 2024.

they're my comfort films/media, i love all the guys sm. them and this online community have brought me happiness and a feeling of belonging.

i've been debating a tattoo for a while but i'm unsure if i'll regret it. every single tattoo i have is a blatant or casual reference to some media i love.

for example, i wanted a South Park tattoo bad last year. i didn't get it, but if i did i wouldn't of regretted it. and i'm feeling the same way about jackass, as i will always love it.

should i get the tattoo as everyone in my life is rallying against it?
