He watches Harry watch him back, his tousled, unwashed hair and tired blue eyes and dirty sweatpants, the way Zayn’s hoodie swallows his fingers, the new lip ring he tugs between his teeth.

“Go home, Harry,” he says quietly before pressing the door shut, not fast enough to miss the confusion that washes over Harry’s face like angry ocean waves in the midst of a storm.
