do the ragawind swamp members consider themselves a separate clan, or are they still part of the main florabrisa group?

I'd say like, 90% of dragons in Ragawind Swamp still would say they're part of Florabrisa! A lot of the dragons that are in Ragawind now had lived in the main part of Florabrisa first and still have connections there and go between the two areas a lot as there's fairly easy transport. Even though Ragawind swamp is more isolated, communication between the two places is strong! It also probably helps that Florabrisa's leader Zaffre is at the swamp frequently and she definitely considers it part of her own jurisdiction, though it's pretty loose. Malbraith calls herself the Queen of Ragawind since she played a large role in building the community (both figuratively and literally) and consequently she does have a good deal of social authority there, but she still would defer to Zaffre or the other Florabrisa leaders in most situations.

As for the dragons that don't consider themselves to be part of Florabrisa..that's mostly just dragons who have wandered into the swamp without ever going to Florabrisa Proper and don't/didn't plan to stick around too long like Kohlrabi and Pibb and..really just them two haha. And then there's the local cyptid Floaf who was there before Florabrisa existed and does not know what Florabrisa is. They've solidified themselves in Florabrisa's lore either way though fdsafdsa

woo so far i’ve given the strange chests scene to Malbraith and Lursa! and decided to grab a copy of the attic scene too, which I gave to Nutshell for now but might give to someone else instead later haha

i’ve been having a hard time getting myself to do art, so instead i’ve been putting my creative energy into the sims c: it’s definitely not finished yet, but here’s my sims version of Ragawind Swamp!

The first three photos are just different angles of the full neighborhood! There are two empty homes in the first three pics - one is Zaffre’s unfinished retreat home, and the other I’ll probably give to Sorl (who doesn’t have a sim yet) but haven’t decided haha

The next five photos show the residents in their swamp huts. In order of appearance the sims are: Memphre and Malbraith, Tildr and Bomoseen, Mirim and Reuben, Grange and Nuka, and by herself is Pibb.

and the last two photos are everybody gathered at Nuka and Grange’s home for tea! getting everyone to stay seated together took sooooo long oh my god I like to think Nuka and Grange are kind of the community hub of Ragawind Swamp! You can go there for a respite, with help from Nuka’s tea and/or Grange’s piano playing c:

That’d be Floaf! Floaf is the local swamp cryptid. They have a very disputed existence. Dragons that live in the swamp claim to occasionally hear them honking in the middle of the night but sightings are rare and inconclusive.............................

10 facts about Squiggle perhaps?

ooh ok! i’ve not really figured out much about Squiggle but i will give it a shot!

1. Squiggle is one of Ragawind Swamp’s newer and younger residents (though most of the dragons in the swamp are newer! It’s grown a lot the past couple years. She’s settled in quite nicely and thinks its a fun environment to explore!

2. Her dad is a spy and her mom is a salesdragon  (and also gen one omg. did not realize this). They don’t seem to be in an active relationship, and I’d say Squiggle probably grew up seeing her mom more than her dad. She’s a pretty good mix of them both though!

3. Going off that, I don’t think she really has any sort of passion for business, and wanted more excitement like her dad! So despite her young age, she took off on her own to see what Sornieth had to offer. Also she’s very nosy haha

4. She’s only recently discovered her psychic powers! She’s not a full mind reader, but she can gain some pretty interesting insights on other dragons with enough time and concentration. Fortune Teller Paragon might have some competition coming haha

5. Like any good snake, you better believe she stretches out her ‘s’ sssoundsss.

6. Bugs and meat are cool, but she’s definitely a spiral that likes to snack on plants (and fungi). She can and will monch on forbidden flowers.

7. She really admires hypnotist Candelilla! Candelilla’s just like ‘haha who is this kid’

8. She has been struggling a little finding her friend group in the swamp, mainly because she’s 18 and the closest dragons in the swamp to her age are Rount (14) and Bomoseen (23) which isn’t quite ideal dsfsdf sorry squiggle. i’ll find someone you can hang with eventually. I do think she likes to visit the swamp grandparents Nuka and Grange whenever she needs guidance or just wants to chill with some tea c: Nuka and Grange are more than happy to adopt every swamp dragon as a grandchild haha

9. The hair..is natural! Her parents are mystified. Some say it’s a display of her magic. She likes to color and braid it sometimes but since coming to Florabrisa’s she’s just let it do whatever.

10. She likes to collect random trinkets! Shiny things are great but she has quite a taste for weird, broken relics too. She does not organize any of it.
