Now you may be thinking “Who the hell is this Raggles and what does he have in common with Raffles?”
Well, quite a bit and not much. Their names are eerily similar, that is true. They may have some similarities in appearance too - at least if you take off your glasses and squint really hard. And there is definitely a thing or two that one might find alike in their respective personalities... like two sides of a coin... or perhaps more like one back of the penny and one top of a sovereign. But anyway. Raggles himself is sure to say he has many a thing in common with the great cricketer, if he ever get a chance. And who is Raggles? Well, none other than the finest and most famous draughts player in the local club of that one London suburb, where he lives in a lovely sure-to-fall-apart-any-day semi-detached house on the river bank, and goes on fantastic and horrifying thievery adventures with his old friend and partner - a humble plumber by the name of Mr Buddy Maggots.
