I've been on a indian drama tv serial binge these last couple weeks (idk why dont judge me. the cheesy romantic scenes r my guilty pleasure) and i binged Mehendi Hai Rachne Waali. I was pretty hesitant to start because I saw some really bad reviews on here but then I was like wth let me see for myself. Now, right off the bat Raghav Rao's role i was like wtf this guy is terrible but im used to toxic male characters in indian dramas so i stayed on lol. But I actually began loving Pallavi's character. Yeah she's unrealistically "good" but she speaks her mind and lets people have it when she's frustrated. The drama also does a good job of trying to softly portray to the viewers a more progress mindset about women. I also loved the chemistry between Raghav and Pallavi, it's not surprise tht theyve gained a large following for their coupling. The actors are talented. Shivangi Khedkar was great from the beginning and Sai Ketan Rao definitely gets much better as the show goes on. But then seeing how different Sai is from Raghav in real life, i was like damn maybe he was great from the beginning lmao.

Don't get me wrong, the show DEFINITELY has very toxic and crazy plot lines and to be able to get immersed into Raghvi, you have to somehow forget the bullshit Raghav did in the beginning. But I'm also very aware of the type of media I'm consuming. I don't have high standards for these types of shows so I get satisfied at the bare minimum. It sounds harsh but it's true. But anyway, Idk if it'll happen but I hope Shivangi and Sai work together again bc they really do exude very comfortable chemistry and their banter was pretty hilarious. I was also just screaming at the screen for them to kiss bc their chemistry was ASKING for it but we just get a bunch of hugs and cheek kisses lmao. I'm also like 80% sure the two actors are dating, either that or they're VERY good friends. They were kind enough to do a service to the fans with two music videos and a bunch of videos/reels on social media so I hope they continue that.
