7. what's your favorite way to travel? Is there a mode of travel you haven't done that you want to experience?

TRAIN BABY!!!!!!!!!!! i would go everywhere by train if i could. I can't say I've gone anywhere by boat/ferry in recent memory so that would be fun to try one day... I'd also love to do more biking but I'd either have to get way buffer/less Mystery Body Problems'd or save up enough to upgrade to an ebike ...

this is an edvard/barnaby i've had on the back burner for a hot moment. it's kind of a "what if this scene went wrong?" fic.

"The dust stung Barnaby's eyes as they fluttered open, and he could feel the grit between his teeth. The room seemed to spin as he sat up and looked around, but with all of the debris in the air there wasn't much to look at. He listened for signs of anybody else, but his ears still roared from the explosion. He couldn't make out any sirens, at least."
