I have a request! Can you give us headcanons for Catrina and Xibalba's kids in The Who You Going To Call AU please?
Sartana was not planned. Whoops.
She also was born before they got married, she was six months old when they finally tied the knot.
There’s a whole dramatic backstory regarding how she was concieved, actually >_>
Xibalba chose the name from a spagetti western. Catrina, surprisingly enough, liked it enough to go through with naming the baby that.
They tried to give her a middle name but it sounded like a telenovela name so they stuck with just Sartana Ángel Equihua.
Xibalba wass the stay-at-home dad, sice he does what could be considered home-office. This meant he chose her outfits most of the time. He had a surprisingly good taste for toddler clothes.
When Sartana was in kindergarden, she kept saying things like ‘Aghhh. Pain. Death’ whenever minorly inconvenienced. Thanks to Catrina.
Catrina got baby fever from seeing her baby niece (Oriana) so she started dropping hints. Xibalba thought she was emotional about Sartana growing up. By the time it finally dawned on him what them hints actually meant, they weren’t subtle anymore.
Macario (AU!Mictlán) chose Rahui’s name. it was both because he wanted to contribute and lowkey to shit on Xibalba’s naming habilities.
When Rahui was born, Sartana went around telling people her parents had sex to make him. She was like four or something so people were, understandably, weirded out. Thanks, María.
Catrina’s cellphone memory was full of pics of her babies and she kept showing them off at any given chance.
Carmen babysats the kids if Xibalba had to go out.
Manolo, María and Joaquín escaped babysitting duty most of the time, but sometimes they couldn’t.
Manolo got super nervous about taking care of the kids, Joaquín and María were so much better at it (Even tho the one with the little cousin he had to take care of at some point was him???)
Rahui could be a handful in energy terms, particularly as a toddler, but he was a good kid most of the time. Sartana tho. Sartana had her dad’s lowkey malevolent personality and her mother’s sense of humor rolled into one small body. She was a nightmare when she set her mind to it.
She took her role as big sister super seriously though.
And that’s all I can think of right now
