Can you go in depth what’s it like having a Venus Ruled Rising/Being Ruled Venus ? For you Taurus/Libra Rising Followers :) also the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Taurus and Libra Rising
I just answered a long ask about my own placements yesterday with a similar question about my own, relative, personal experience, in case you haven't read that yet.
These things are very individual. It all depends on the position of your natal Venus, and the aspects, and also on the Nakshatras involved. I'm gonna make a little summary, so that anyone who is Venus Ruled can check what planets they should particularly pay attention to. It's not only Venus itself, but also the Nakshatra ruler that will matter, plus you should always look at your big 3, and how these planets aspect each other. I gave my example in the long answer yesterday, why for me Venus, Jupiter and Saturn come very strongly into focus as a Libra Rising dominated by Jupiter ruled Nakshatras, but everyone's chart will differ.
Taurus Rising/Dominant:
Always check your Moon and Venus, due to Moon's exaltation in Taurus. This is the "lighter" expression of Venus.
Nakshatra influences:
Krittika - Look at Sun, main planets to look at are Venus, Sun and Moon
Rohini - Moon doubles up on the importance, so we look at Venus and Moon in close detail
Mrigasira - Look at Mars, main planets to look at are Venus, Sun and Mars
Libra Rising/Dominant
Always check your Saturn and Venus, due to Saturn's exaltation in Libra. A "darker" expression of Venus.
Nakshatra influences:
Chitra - Look at Mars, main planets to look at are Venus, Saturn and Mars
Swati - Look at Rahu, main planets to look at are Venus, Saturn and Rahu
Vishakha - Look at Jupiter, main planets to look at are Venus, Saturn and Jupiter.
Now depending on your chart and the condition of any of these planets, it will change the results, and highlight which areas of your life come to you easier. I gave an example with my chart in the previous ask, where I said that due to the influence of "darker" Nakshatras like Mula and Shravana it contributes to my interest and gift in spirituality, while Hasta gives a healing ability. But I only have Vishakha Nakshatra in my chart. As a Libra Rising, you could have all the Libra Nakshatras involved, and the position of their dispositor planets will give different results for everybody. If the dispositor is in a challenged position, it will make it harder. Venus rulership gives creative abilities, universally, but how they manifest will depend on the Nakshatra. For example, as a Sagittarius Venus in Mula, in my case my creativity definitely has this witchy/pagan/spiritual aesthetic, but for someone with a different Venus sign it will express itself differently.
Every position will have its advantages and disadvantages, and it will look totally differently for everyone. You could say, that Taurus Risings will have it "easier" due to Libra Rising being burdened by Saturn. But a Taurus Rising with a debilitated Moon will struggle much more, than a Libra Rising with an exalted Saturn.
The one thing that I can a 100% say will apply to most people, is that Venus in the chart being so strong gives an intense relationship karma. How that karma will manifest depends on how your Venus is placed, so that will make it appropriately easier or harder for you. For example, with Venus in Mula I have really seen the bottom of human ugliness due to the nature of this Nakshatra, and even as I am writing this, I know that people can hit rock bottom even more than I've seen it, to the point that I don't even want to experience. Someone with Venus in Rohini in the 1st house on the other hand, may have less interest in spiritual pursuits, and instead just enjoy the physical pleasures and comforts in life, and thus have an entirely different view on humanity. Other sign energies are less influenced by the mirroring process, that Venus gives you, but with Taurus and Libra you really find out a lot of the time what you want and what you don't want for yourself through other people's action mirroring it back to you. It can have both a positive and a negative dimension, because your standard is set depending on what you experience from people. Due to years of people treating me below what I deserve, I realised how much more I am worth as a person, and I've learned exactly what I want, and what I will and won't accept from people, and who I am as an individual. No one ever gave me a positive example, but the negative example taught me well enough. This is not done to punish anyone, but to show these Venus ruled signs who they are, to make them discover themselves through the other.
To sum up, with Venus dominance you may certainly experience a variety of connections with different people in your life, for better or for worse, but these connections will also largely dictate how your life is. I can tell you from experience, that I practically have noone in my life right now, all my friends are online, and I'm also no longer willing to allow anyone who hurts me into my life, but the lack of companionship really bothers me, and as much as I'm doing my best I can tell I would blossom if I had more positive connections in my life.
Venus also puts the importance on the physical world. This may sound superficial, even though I'm the opposite of that as a spiritual person, but the material conditions really influence your level of happiness with a strong Venus. It doesn't have to be the level of "dripping with gold", but I can tell how badly it affected my mental state, when my cash was running so low I couldn't buy myself a candle for meditation. To me that is important, because it affects my level of stability. I also invest in clothes, which I have few, but those I have I make sure were not made through slave child labor. That matters to me, because I don't want to participate in unethical practices, and that matters to me for my emotional happiness. There are people, who are happy owning 2 T-shirts, would put on a backpack and hike through the world, and need nothing and noone. With a strong Venus, that simply won't work for you.
Other dominants/risings, especially strong Sun influence, will not have this process so strongly pronounced in their lives. Their life paths are focusing on something else, and they need people just like everyone does, but in different ways and on different levels. Every soul gets what it signed up for, and any experience you get, you get for a reason.
