@raidenripoff It was surprisingly hard to find the cyborg ninja in a situation where he was completely alone but also in an accessible spot. The moment Hana saw him on the breakroom sofa in front of the television, she practically ran towards him. She jumped and landed next to Genji on the sofa, quickly shifted to the most casual pose she could manage with her legs on the backrest, and wiggled her eyebrows. "Sup, Raiden." (Yes, it was an outdated reference, but it was a good one, okay?)

She knew they shouldn’t have come here. It was too cold a world, too unforgiving. Too immersed in turmoil and hatred.

She screamed as the blade ran through him, far larger than any weapon she’d ever seen. Even a body as enhanced as Genji’s would be unable to survive such trauma.  

She cried as she dragged him to safety, blood forming a trail behind them. Her sleeves were soaked in red, and the smell of copper mixed with oil filled the air.

She was silent as she held his head in her lap, running her fingers over his eyelids to urge him to close them, to rest. She knew there was no way she’d be able to get him to a doctor in time. 

All that could be heard was the sound of tears hitting his face like rain.

Genji seemed as though he was in deep thought for several seconds. Back in the old days, he’d had more than his fair share of women, but back in the old days he’d had the right parts to work with.

“I am sure I can figure something out.”

“I’d really rather you didn’t,” she admitted, crossing her arms over the table. After a few months of traveling together, she was sure this was some sort of joke. 

“It would just make me feel awkward.”

“Yeah, I put a sedative in her ass,” Sidon concluded, arms crossed. “She was movin’ around that much and, of course, had to be microchipped. Waste of a sedative, really.”

8. kissing their neck

They’d been caught in the rain on their way to the next town, and Sidon was starting to regret not telling Genji about her abilities. This was the only downside to traveling the slow way, though, as everything else so far had been delightful. 

By the time they’d found shelter, she was drenched from head to blade tip, the water repellent material of her hood doing little to keep her hair or skin dry. She shivered and turned to Genji, holding herself for warmth.

The first thing she did was ask if he was okay. 

Something about this must have resonated deeply within the warrior, because instead of replying, he brought her close to him, ducking down to press his smooth metal ‘mouth’ to her exposed neck. He was humming quietly, hand on the small of her back.

She understood.

Sidon didn’t want to inconvenience Genji or remind him of the fact he couldn’t eat, but she was starving. She was a big eater by default- going for half a day without food was driving her insane. She considered chewing on her sleeves to soothe her urge to go hunting, but she hadn’t done that since she was a kid. No. She’d just wait it out.

She hadn’t even noticed she was already nibbling on Genji’s arm, but the light clink-clinking of her teeth against metal brought it to her attention. “Ahh, shit!”
