She’s landed herself in Miami again. After not visiting for a while, she’s decided she misses the warmth and neon glow of the strange city. This time, however, she’ll push her limits and find somewhere new to explore. 

She knows most people don’t take kindly to a girl with blades for legs, but who knows? Maybe they’ll think it’s some quirky fashion statement. It does seem to be the place for that kind of thing.

Walking up to a pristine white building with several fancy looking cars outside, she rubs her cheek for a moment before deciding to head inside.

Junkrat wandered up to the woman and proceeded to poke one of her blades with the side of his pegleg, a heavy frown on his face while he set his hands on his hips.

“Hooly dooly. Those things are terrifyin’. Where can I get one??” He looked up to her face with a joking grin.

Although part of him was serious. He would fucking love a blade leg.

Sidon jumped at the sudden contact, looking up in shock at the sight of a stranger who appeared to be on fire! Or, well, have been on fire at some point. Her first instinct, of course, is to pout and cross her arms, but she soon realizes the man means no real offense with his comment.

“Backalley clinic, I guess!” She shrugged, and although it’s a sensitive subject, she couldn’t help but smile. “Though they’re a bit of a trademark, so I’m not sure I can let you steal my look!”

Her smile widened as she realized the man was also missing a leg- and an arm!

“Your leg’s pretty snazzy too, though!”

jakku is an interesting planet. a marvel. a unique habitat of many incredible species and--

qian thinks she’s just passed the same dune-cactus for the eighth time. so, alright. even her own curious little cerean mind, parched for a new discovery, couldn’t battle the sort of redundancy and monotony only a desert planet could provide. she lifts a hand from the handle of her swoop to briefly readjust her goggles, and nearly sighed in relief when she spotted a landmark (an odd-looking rock vaguely shaped like a ferret) that signified that indeed, she hasn’t been zooming about in circles.

(please save her from this sandy hell.) 

the things i do to spot sandworms, am i even in the right part of jakku-- her thought process is fittingly interrupted by a colossal annelid breaking through the dunes and diving back into its depths. it took all of her willpower to stay sat on her swoop and not to jump off and run in the general direction of the worm-like creature.

“beautiful, yes!” she shouts giddily. “this is the quality content that i signed up for!”

“You’re welcome to visit whenever you like.” He gives her a warm smile.

He suddenly realizes he has no idea where to go from here himself. He has a guest, but he doesn’t really know what being a host is like– The only non-family who had visited were Winston and Ta’breyian, who were pretty much landlords.

His smile turns to a nervous grin and he desperately hopes someone’s home. “Um. Let’s try to find my mother. Have you heard of Lady Sedna Frost?”

“I’ll keep that in mind, thanks!” She returns the gesture, hands on her hips as she waits for him to guide her.

Though it seems that’s not something that is going to happen... Well, he’s the host, he sets the rules. She’s sure she’ll have plenty of time to explore further down the line!

“Sedna... Sedna... Name rings a bell, but it’s probably due to havin’ met before... Hmm. I think I need to be told about her!” She is, after all, relatively new to this realm. She hasn’t had a chance to catch up on the lore yet. “Or, y’know, meetin’ her works too.”

Genji seemed as though he was in deep thought for several seconds. Back in the old days, he’d had more than his fair share of women, but back in the old days he’d had the right parts to work with.

“I am sure I can figure something out.”

“I’d really rather you didn’t,” she admitted, crossing her arms over the table. After a few months of traveling together, she was sure this was some sort of joke. 

“It would just make me feel awkward.”

Instantly he shot her a glare, choosing to take the opportunity of her compromised position to push her over. Crawling closer now that she was in the dirt, he smirked down at her.

“Pity y'attitude ruins y'whole look.”

“Ah-!”

Sidon hit the ground before she could laugh at her tease, scowling up at the smug-looking Junkrat. She’d show him! She raised her hand up and smacked him across the face with her sleeve, subsequently pouncing at him. 

“Say that again, I double dog dare ya!”

Makarov noticed the sudden movement of ducking behind a bunch of barrels, it wasn’t the first time he dealt with scared civilians so he knew how to approach them, holstering his weapon behind him he walked forward towads the barrels saying loudly

“We need to evacuate the premises, it’s too dangerous out here, you can be safer if you come with us” He stated in a calm tone, being inches from the barrels that the civilian hid from

Oh good, they spoke a shared language! She felt a bit more at ease at the words, realizing it was this man’s job to make sure she was alright. A hand on the barrel, she rose cautiously, white eyes once again meeting the man’s.

“Mind... Mind tellin’ me exactly what’s goin’ on?” Not that she wouldn’t follow him- naturally she would (she didn’t come to this world just to die in it), but she wanted to understand her situation.
