Now, for the question. I think, no, I know he would taste sweet, but not too sweet that you get overwhelmed by the taste, just the right amount of sweetness. Also, he would be a half and half apple, not too mushy but also not too hard, yk? But also, he would be really juicy, ngl, would definitely get my hands all wet and sticky. And also, he would be a pretty reddish color. All in all 10/10 apple tbh

YES, I can't tell you how many times he has done this throughout their lifes, like Marm used to be really into these specific cookies that tasted like orange, and he would usually sneak in one or three to himself, in fact whenever he ate something that Marm also was having or had eaten, he would get really blushy and nervous whenever Marm 'confronted' him about it, why 'confronted' in quotation marks? Because Marm was obvs very much oblivious to this and he literally would tell him that there was no need to sneak away that he would share (tho, Marm could get really..... territorial? With certain snacks/foods tho (he might've bitten Caleb once or twice lmao 💀)
