NERO: How far would they go for something (or someone) they love fiercely? As far as it takes. He would take a life, destroy something precious, go to any length–so long as he is not asked to betray his comrades.

RAIN: When was the last time your muse truly felt alive? For better or worse, Rain feels most alive when they're in combat or in danger. It's a natural byproduct of the adrenaline rush, of course, but more than that, they're in control of themself in those moments. Anything that happens to them is usually a result of their own actions. They prefer it that way.

CEDRIC: Who do they miss when the sun rises? His sister, Agnes. He lost her and the rest of his family to a demon that turned her into an abomination when he was around seventeen to eighteen years old. It was what made him want to become a templar in the first place. She was his best friend, his confidante, his most beloved person, and he misses her more than anything.

How many subjects has Rain been tutored in? And what was her favorite?

just about everything under the sun to some degree! their parents wanted them to be a well-rounded, attractive marriage option, and rain was a voracious learner, but there were obviously subjects that they focused on most out of necessity, such as:

politics.

etiquette.

history.

religion (yawn).

some music (also yawn).

they also sat in on some of their older brother's warfare tutoring, but they typically weren't typically allowed to stay for long, so they're not as well-versed in that.

as far as their favorite, they really enjoyed history and politics!

i like the idea of rain fucking up and proving themself ignorant about like the dalish or dwarves or something and just being FURIOUS at themself for being complacent enough to allow ignorance to fester (normal reaction to have btw). they immediately hire tutors on whatever subject they’ve just shown their ass on and work like a dog to understand, because they really, really hate being ignorant. not only does it make them feel stupid and weak, but they also hate slighting or hurting other people because they don’t know something/didn’t care in the past to learn about it.

rain is a brat. not necessarily undeservedly so; they've dealt with the CRUSHING expectations of female-born nobility their whole life, they have a ton of religious trauma, they're fucked up from being locked in the ostwick tower at sixteen so they're old enough to miss what little freedom they had...

and they're going to make that everyone's problem. cuz this is THEIR inquisition, god damn it. this is THEIR army, these are THEIR resources, and they are going to use them as a force for good. the inquisition will be the weapon of the just and if you get in their way there will be tables flipped and screaming matches at best.

RAIN: WHAT DOES YOUR LOVE TASTE LIKE?

FIGS. sweet, sticky, they have a earthy, honey like flavor. figs were cleopatra's favorite fruit. she ordered that the snake she intended to end her life with, be brought to her hidden in a basket of figs. an ancient fruit that has always fascinated painters, poets and storytellers. yours too is a love that should belong to books and paintings. your love is steady, the people you love know how deep your feelings are because you always remember them how much you love and desire them, and that you will always be there. maybe not with words, expressing your feelings might not be easy for you. it's your actions and attentions that let them know, because they feel seen and heard. figs are luscious, sensual fruits. you're a passionate lover, you crave warmth and touch. you do not fall in love easily, maybe you used to when you were younger but you have now learned better. because you learned that when you love you give it all, you sacrifice a lot and you cannot do that carelessly. like the female fig wasp that, when entering an unripe fig to pollinate its flowers, loses her antennae and wings. you're a quiet devoted lover. yours is an unwavering deeply rooted love. your love is intense, almost overwhelming like figs are, swollen with hundreds of seeds. there's something quite disturbing when looking at its flesh. but that's what it gives it that crunchy, popping feeling, the same of a love that does not know boredom. but beware. you might be a lot to handle, and some times it might be hard for you to remember that not everyone loves as fiercely as you do. let your intensity be a gift, not a burden.
